Goodman customers get into the festive spirit with free Christmas workshops

9 Dec 2014

This week global integrated property group Goodman has been bringing Christmas spirit to its business parks with free annual Christmas wreath-making workshops. This year, the events have proved so popular that over 300 people have taken part, the highest number to date.

Now in its fourth year, the seasonal event programme takes place at business parks across the UK. Wreath-making events, hosted by award-winning landscapers, Integritas, kicked off the festive period this week at Goodman’s Oxford Business Park, Hatfield Business Park, Gloucester Business Park and Bracknell Business Park, and were open to all business park employees.

The sessions provided staff from many of Goodman’s business park customers the chance to learn how to make a Christmas wreath. Their festive foliage could then be taken home, or given as gifts to friends and family. Goodman also laid on some tasty warming refreshments including mince pies, mulled wine and warm spiced apple juice.

This year’s events were heavily oversubscribed, with many of Goodman’s customers encouraging their employees to take part as part of flexi work schemes and to encourage team bonding.

Richard Potter, Property Services Director at Goodman said:

“Our Christmas workshops have always proved extremely popular, and this year we have seen a higher demand than ever. The events are a great way to boost staff morale and to encourage teamwork amongst our customers’ employees.

At Goodman we believe in making our business parks enjoyable places to work and will continue holding seasonal events which offer business park employees a fulfilling, interactive work environment.”

Goodman prides itself on promoting a healthy work-life balance for business park customers. Other initiatives launched throughout the year have included fitness classes, fresh fruit giveaways and cycling/sustainable travel events.
